Inspired by interior design, travel and Australian lifestyle.
Our story
It all started way back in 2015. I was truly inspired by a particular flower shop that existed in the Artemis Lane, in the heart of Melbourne CBD back then. Some of you might know about this beautiful flower shop. I really wanted one of my own.
My background in Architecture and Interior Design has always encouraged me to explore different means of aesthetic that are pleasing to the eyes. I finished my Architecture study in the University of Melbourne and decided to start A Thousand Blooms on the side.
I had my amazing and talented friends volunteered to be the models for my campaign videos, holding my flower arrangements while walking around Carlton neighbourhood, in front of the beautiful Victorian heritage houses.
It was purely an online floral studio back then and it still is for now!
Orders started coming in. Business went really well, surprisingly. I had to brought it back to Jakarta, Indonesia as I received an offer to work in an Architecture company. Still arranging flowers on the side, and somehow I did it full time afterwards.
A Thousand Blooms participated in Bridestory events and we were featured on their website and other bridal sites too. We have witnessed many love stories, relationships and be part of weddings too. We feel truly honoured.
We closed down for a few years as I was pursuing my career in Interior Design. We are so excited to say that A Thousand Blooms is now back in business in Melbourne. We hope to grow and evolve together in your life for years to come!
With love,

Handcrafted with care
We have transformed our concept from creating arrangements with fresh flowers into a more sustainable option - preserved dried flowers.
Our blooms are especially curated by marrying various preserved Australian grown & native flowers, as well as handcrafted flowers for a timeless and bespoke aesthetic that is uniquely A Thousand Blooms.
Everlasting blooms, especially created for giving, styling and weddings.
Every collection is curated as we get inspired by travel, interior design and Australian lifestyle.
Our flowers have been preserved and dried to last. Sustainable aesthetic that will become your memorable keepsake, that is aesthetically pleasing in your space. Easy on the eyes, easy to maintain.
We love fresh flowers too, but our business now focuses on sustainable aesthetics that will last for years.
Easy on the eyes, easy to maintain.
